Net/day = revenue at today's ZEC price and network hashrate minus electricity at the rate above and the €25 monthly rack fee, after a 1% pool fee. Payback = spot price ÷ net/day; a batch price shortens it. Prices updated 9 October 2026.
How to read the table
J/kSol is the long-term number
Joules per kilo-solution is electricity per unit of work. Lower is better, and the gap compounds every day the machine runs.
€/kSol is the short-term number
Euros of hardware per unit of hashrate. Prices move daily, so this column can flip the decision between the Z15K and the Pro. See the price tracker.
Payback is the decision
A shorter payback means less time exposed to price and difficulty moves. Anything beyond 18 months at today's conditions deserves a hard look.
Our recommendation
One machine: Z15 Pro 840 or 860, whichever has the lower €/kSol today.
Tight budget, cheap power: Z15K, hosted, not at home.
Learning with a small ticket: Z15, one unit, hosted or in a garage.
Ten or more units: Z15 Pro in immersion. Ask for bulk pricing.
Z15 Pro 840 vs 860
Same machine, different bin. The 860 hashes 2.4% faster and draws about 70 W more. Price per kSol on the day is the only reason to prefer one over the other.
Z15 Pro vs Z15
Double the hashrate, better efficiency. If you can afford the Pro, the Pro pays back faster in almost every scenario.
