What the numbers mean for you
Best efficiency in the range
3.31 J/kSol. Every kSol costs less electricity than on a Z15K (4.73). When the ZEC price dips, efficient machines stay profitable longest.
Twice the Z15 in the same box
840 kSol/s in a 245 × 132 × 290 mm chassis. Two Z15 Pros do the work of four Z15s in half the rack space.
Your share of the network
One Z15 Pro is a small slice of the 1,440 ZEC paid to miners each day. Run the calculator for today's number and payback.
Host your Z15 Pro 840 with us
Monthly hosting, setup, deposit and first payment for the Antminer Z15 Pro in Norway (rack) or the UAE (immersion). Miner + hosting package rate applies.
Who the Z15 Pro is for
If you are buying one blog-zec-mining-explained.html">Equihash miner, buy this one. The Pro is the current top of Bitmain's Zcash line and the machine we host most.
The investor who wants ZEC exposure with cash flow. Instead of buying coins outright, you buy hashrate, receive ZEC daily, and keep the hardware's resale value.
The operator adding Equihash to a BTC farm. Same 200–240 V input as most SHA-256 miners, same footprint, a smaller network. Ask about bulk pricing and immersion capacity.
The first-timer who wants the right machine, once. One Z15 Pro hosted with us is a complete set-up: no noise, no wiring, a Foreman dashboard, ZEC paid to your own wallet.
What can go wrong
The ZEC price can fall. Network hashrate can rise. Both reduce daily revenue while electricity stays fixed. The next halving is expected in 2028. Hardware depreciates and can fail; the warranty covers defects, not price moves.
Spot or batch?
Spot ships now at today's price. Batches ship in the month named and are usually cheaper; you reserve a batch by paying its invoice. Choose the batch in the hosting calculator above or in the order form.
Home or hosted?
At home: 75 dB, 2780 W continuous, a dedicated 200–240 V circuit and a room you don't mind heating. Hosted with us: from €0.069/kWh plus €25/month rack space, monitored 24/7, live within 2–4 weeks.
Customer reviews
Warranty & repairs
Bitmain warranty of 180 days on new units, claimed directly with the manufacturer. We help with the claim, and for units hosted in Norway we coordinate repairs with our trusted partner repair centre. How warranty claims work.
Questions about the Z15 Pro
What is the difference between the Z15 Pro 840 and 860?
Same chassis, same firmware, a higher-binned batch. The 860 hashes about 2.4% faster and draws about 70 W more. Pick on price per kSol on the day, which is why we list both.
How loud is the Z15 Pro?
About 75 dB at one metre, comparable to a vacuum cleaner. Fine in a workshop with ventilation, not in a living space. Immersion hosting removes the fan noise entirely.
Does the Z15 Pro need a special power supply?
The PSU is integrated. You need a 200–240 V AC circuit rated for at least 16 A per unit. It will not run on a standard 110–120 V socket.
How long is the warranty?
Bitmain's manufacturer warranty, 180 days on new units from the shipment date, claimed directly with Bitmain. We help you file it and coordinate repairs for units hosted in Norway.
Can I mine coins other than Zcash?
Yes. Any Equihash (200,9) coin: Zcash, Horizen, Komodo, Pirate Chain, Hush. Zcash is almost always the most profitable, which is why our estimates use it.
