Both are good. They are good at different things.
| Air-cooled rack (Norway) | Immersion (UAE) | |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | Miner sits in a rack; hot air is pulled out by fans and the hall's airflow. | Miner is submerged in dielectric fluid; heat moves to the fluid and out through a heat exchanger. |
| Noise | Loud on site (not your problem when hosted). | Fans removed. Silent. |
| Chip temperature | Normal. Follows ambient air. | Lower and stable. Less thermal stress. |
| Dust and corrosion | Filtered, but present. | None. Fluid seals the electronics. |
| Hardware lifespan | Standard. | Typically longer, higher resale value. |
| Setup | €230 per miner | €800 per miner |
| Electricity | Same tiered rate in both locations, plus €25/miner/month rack space | |
| Best for | One to a few units. Fastest start, lowest setup. | Long horizons, larger fleets, anyone who wants the hardware to last. |
