Air-cooled hosting

ZEC miner hosting, air-cooled: what happens in a Norwegian rack hall

How air-cooled rack hosting works for Antminer Z15 miners in northern Norway: hydro power, Arctic air, standard racks, Foreman monitoring, and the trade-offs against immersion.

19 September 2026 · Z15 PRO

Air-cooled hosting is the classic set-up: miners in standard racks, cold air pulled in from outside, hot air pushed out. In northern Norway the outside air does most of the cooling for most of the year, and the grid is hydro-powered.

What you get

  • Rack deployment within days of the unit arriving, setup €230 per miner.
  • Tiered electricity from €0.069/kWh on the miner + hosting package, €25 rack space per miner per month.
  • Your own Foreman account: hashrate, temperatures, uptime, reboots, pool switching, log files.
  • An on-site team for small repairs at €125/hour, reboots free, and a partner repair centre for warranty work.
  • ~98% historical uptime over the past year.

Trade-offs

Racks are louder on site, hashboards see more thermal cycling and some dust, and a rare summer heat wave can throttle chips briefly. In exchange you get the lowest setup cost and the fastest start. For a long horizon or a large fleet, compare with immersion in the UAE.

The infrastructure

Our Norwegian racks are mature infrastructure operated for Homb Cloud, which is why the uptime record and processes already exist. Norway hosting page.
